Global Pay Transparency Policy Statement

At Henry Schein, we are committed to fostering an open and inclusive workplace where every Team Schein Member feels valued and respected. In alignment with our core values, we ensure transparency in pay practices and uphold the rights of employees and applicants to discuss compensation openly.

Team Schein Members are free to inquire about, discuss, or disclose their own pay or the pay of others. However, individuals who have access to compensation information as part of their job responsibilities are prohibited from sharing it with those who do not have authorized access — except in the following situations:

  • In response to a formal complaint or charge
  • As part of an investigation, proceeding, hearing, or legal action, including those conducted by the Company
  • As required by law

The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant. However, employees who have access to the compensation information of other employees or applicants as a part of their essential job functions cannot disclose the pay of other employees or applicants to individuals who do not otherwise have access to compensation information, unless the disclosure is (a) in response to a formal complaint or charge, (b) in furtherance of an investigation, proceeding, hearing, or action, including an investigation conducted by the employer, or (c) consistent with the contractor's legal duty to furnish information.
In Canada, we are committed to fair, equitable, compensation practices. We provide salary ranges in job postings where required and determine individual compensation within posted ranges based on role requirements, experience, skills, location/labour market conditions, and internal equity. Our approach is designed to support consistency, fairness, and trust across our Canadian workforce.
